DIAMOND LAKE, Ore. - Oregon State Police have identified a California man killed and a woman injured when their car crashed into a tree off Highway 138 East near Diamond Lake earlier this week.

Value of Va. Beach Town Center's property drops slightly
VIRGINIA BEACH Town Center, the city's recently constructed downtown, fell in value this year for the first time after nearly a decade of growth. The 10 blocks of office towers, shops, restaurants and residences dropped in assessed value by 4.7 percent, according to records from the city's real estate assessor's office. Citywide assessments this year declined by 6.5 percent.

A Fort Bragg soldier back from Afghanistan has received a Harley Davidson Sportster during an Appreciation Ceremony in Hall of Heroes at the Rawcliffe Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Â The donation was made by Lee Rawcliffe, owner of Sands Resorts and Don Allen, CEO of American Veterans Traveling Tribute. Â A second soldier will be receiving a Sportster in the fall.
